I agree with JT, compared to the CVS employees that I deal with all the time who are awesome, Walgreens employees seem like they have a problem with us saving money playing their game. If you don't like the way your company does things, go somewhere else and work, until then treat me with respect and let me do my shopping the frugal way easily. I have been having problems all of a sudden with RR's too. They now won't let you use more than one at a time. It used to be that they just wanted your item total to match or be greater than your coupon total. The RR's expire so quickly, I don't have time to go to Walgreens several times a week in order to use the RR's on separate visits and if you try to split your transactions, they act as if you are nothing but a nuisance. Walgreens will be seeing less of me too.

The manager shouldn't be getting upset. It's his job to make sure that the registers are ringing the items up correctly.

If the items continue to ring up wrong then I would tell the manager that this is a continuing problem and ask what can be done to resolve it. If the answer is still not satisfactory, then I would ask for the district manager's number and go above the store manager to get the problem resolved.

Walgreen's is offering this program so it's not like it's up to the store manager to be happy or unhappy about the program. It's a part of his job and he or she needs to follow what his company has offered to the public.
