I went to a different CVS than I normally shop, and it was well stocked. I was able to find the Children’s Throat Coolers, so I bought 2 of them to use my B1G1 Free coupon. The cashier informed me that I couldn’t use my coupon, since I was already getting them both free after ECB’s. She called a manager over, and he “let” me use the coupon. I plan on e-mailing CVS to find out if that was OK. I don’t want to do anything fraudulent, but I’ve never heard of not being able to use a coupon before when the item was free after ECB’s. Other than that, it was a good trip.
I received an e-mail back from CVS, and here’s CVS’ coupon policy.

I used my bogo coupon with no problem for the throat coolers….it is perfectly fine-since you ARE paying for them (even if only with ECBs!) before you get your ECBs making them free! It is crazy that they questioned that!
