Save Money with Prescriptions

About a month or so ago, I was taking a prescription medicine that was quite expensive (about $40 for a 3 week supply with my insurance). In order to save money (since I hadn’t planned on it for my flexible spending account), I used prescription transfer coupons to get some gift certificates for the drugstores where I was buying my prescription.

If you would also like to save money on prescriptions, I noticed that there were some great prescription transfer coupons in this Sunday’s paper.

  • Rite Aid – has a printable coupon for a $30 Rite Aid gift card for a prescription transfer. I believe you can only transfer (per person) once every 6 months to receive this. They also have a paper coupon in the Super Coupon Savings flyer from this Sunday’s paper.
  • Walgreens – has a coupon in this Sunday’s flyer for a free $25 Walgreens gift card with any transferred prescription or click here for a printable coupon.
  • KMart – has a coupon in this Sunday’s flyer for a free $10 KMart gift card with the purchase of a new or transferred prescription.
  • Target – has a coupon in this Sunday’s flyer for a free $10 Target gift card with the purchase of any new or transferred prescription.
