If you got the paper last Sunday (8/3), I’m sure you noticed that there was a rebate in there for a $5 rebate with a $5 purchase of either Pert Plus or Sure, plus $5 worth of school supplies. CVS did not have best deals on school supplies that I saw, but they did have the best deal on Pert Plus and Sure (that I saw…besides the Pert Plus free after rebate at Walgreens, but I had already done that the prior week).
So, I purchased the following:
2 bottles of Pert Plus – 1 bottle for $3.99 and one bottle free after BOGO
2 Sure deoderants – 1 stick for $2.69 and one for free after BOGO
then I purchased the following school supplies:
2 Pencil pouches – $3.99 for both after BOGO
2 packs of Pilot Easy Touch pens – $1.99 after BOGO
I used the following coupons:
$2 and $1 off Pert Plus
$1 and $1 off Sure.
So, I spent $7.66 for all the above and I sent away for a $5 rebate. I didn’t think that was too bad!

I just “cashed in” on the monthly deal for Advil. I was able to use a $2 coupon to make the deal even sweeter. Oh, and it is limit 2 not 1!
